Media Center PC Prototype

Microsoft's eHome division and a design company named One &co. announces it's new idea and prototype for a home media center which doubles as a PC. There are several designs in the making but one that is most popular is the self-standing wood paneled with chrome accents. It stands upright beside the TV viewer for easy accessibility. A built in CDROM and DVDROM drive allows users to insert picture CDs and watch DVDs without leaving the comfort of their recliner. A cup holder is also standard for upright models that double for the remote holder.

Other models include wall mounted systems and differently shaped self-standing pods but no matter where you put them they are all controlled by a TV size remote. No word yet on how difficult the remote will be to use or the base price for a system would be up geekBlue will keep you updated.
