New n6-HR Suunto MSN Direct SPOT Watch

Many negative remarks have been made about the so called SPOT Watches around. geekBlue reviewed several and decided to preview the newest one. To tell you the truth we were optimistic about it, yet after further review we each wanted one. The earlier models used to be very large with minimal user interface options. Weight before was a major concern, which as of recently has been lowered some. There are different looks and bands out there so look around. Also with different brands carrying them the features grow with each release. That is good for the consumer.

For full features of the n6-HR Suunto click article.

With the n6-HR Suunto, usability is limited to standard sports activity. The watch was designed for athletes who can't carry a log book or stopwatch with them as they run or swim. The features include:

MSN Direct compatible.

Heart Rate Monitor

Stopwatch with multiple lap and split times.

Training Logbook with 20 logs

Interval timer

3 programmable daily alarms.

Dual time (shows the time in multiple time zones, and updates automatically as you move from one time zone to another).

Water resistant to 100 meters

Plastic case with a scratch-resistant mineral crystal

Suunto n6-HR Training Manager PC Software included.

USB recharger included

Other brands include Fossil and Swatch. SPOT Watches can have features as Multi face views, stock quotes, GPS, alarms, and heart rate. geekBlue plans to update with a different style watch soon. Features and usability of the sports version seemed limited to what some can do. Interfaces between watch software and the user have become highly advanced and will need further testing.
