Sony CLIE PEG-UX50 Review

The new Sony CLIE PEG-UX50 has the same design look as the UX40 but with more accessories. When shopping for performance geekBlue suggests upgrading to the UX50. This personal portable communicator offers dual wireless integration in the smallest of packages. Competing with the other new handheld, OQO Model 01 , the Sony is pushing up the ante in performance. The new Clie uses both 802.11b WiFi and built-in Bluetooth, there isn't anywhere you can't go with this system. Connecting to a LAN with a wireless network is painless. HotSyncs and email checking can be complete almost in your sleep. Another great feature this model gives is the fact that you can connect to any Bluetooth enabled devices. Your friend has a Clie? Connect right to him and exchange information.

Besides being wildly attractive, the new UX50 comes with its drawbacks. Once geekBlue finds some we'll let you know. A system this small with all its capabilities is hard to find. Sony intended for it to compete with other power PDA systems instead of making just another handheld. In our eyes they succeeded. This product has a whole list of surprises up its sleeve so read the full article to see the list.
