Sony DCR-HC 1000 Review
![]() |
Sony's DCR-HC1000 camcorder is a mighty force in a small package. Aimed toward the less skilled in video recording, the new camcorder shows great promise among both young and old photographers. With its easy to hold camera, point recorder features, and a quality that is ranked rather highly, it's no wonder why Sony is becoming a big name in digital Media. geekBlue has reviewed many of Sony's products and each time the good has out weighted the bad. So after testing the HC1000 geekBlue gave it 3 Gs. Taking in consideration of its size and portability, the customizable video features help bump it up a G. With only a 1Megapixel still shots and the limited MiniDV recording format, consumers might want to look another direction for the best camera for their buck. However, if you like the small design and the price fits your budget, go get it. Medium size LCD screen and many addable accessories help new user become experts pretty fast.
