New Phone / Camcorder
![]() |
I know! I know! It's PDA Week and there shouldn't be anything but PDAs, but I found something that I think is worth the interruption. It is a cell phone with camcorder capabilities. The PH-L4000V will be released this month (Feb) in Asia and Europe . No known plans for the US market as of yet, however, the product brought a great reviews at the iF Design Awards in Europe . The company that is bringing you the new technology is Pantech & Curitel. The company walked away with an iF Design Award and plans to push many of these types of products into the market. Asian markets seem to like the smaller multi-function phones. The major one that is planned to be out this week is the IM-8100. The SK Teletech IM-8100 will have a 1.1M CCD camera. The camera will enables users to easily take pictures in different angles by adjusting the lens. Adding to its 100MB memory it will include a PictBridge function, allowing users to print photos with PctBridge supported printer without connecting to a computer, and functions equivalent to that of a MP3 player. geekBlue will keep you posted on the new releases and how you will be able to get these gadgets. Now back to your regularly scheduled PDA Week! |
