Motorola PEBL V6
![]() |
“Shifting gears from the angular designs of the V3 and V8, the PEBL V6 brings a distinctive oval shape with rounded edges to Motorola's family of phones with missing-letter names. The PEBL looks more like a shiny throat lozenge than the pebble that's presumably its namesake, but we thought it was attractive all the same, if not as striking as the V3 upon first encounter. According to Motorola, it features a “dual-hinge” mechanism that makes the phone particularly fluid and easy to flip open (this is not the same kind of dual hinge that enables the MPx to open along both edges). The basic specs are familiar for a GSM phone of our era: tri-band with EDGE for speed, VGA camera, MMS, and Bluetooth connectivity. The PEBL sports Speaker Independent Voice Dial, which will hopefully do what it says. Motorola projects availability for second half of the year, with no price given.” [via laptopmag ] More pictures and features in article |
