New Segway Models Announced: XT, GT, and HT i180
![]() |
If you can remember the time of the first Segway, it was mostly hype with little sales. Just like most Hollywood movies the Segway has a sequel. Lets hope this time around it won't be as bad as the first. Don't get me wrong I really like the Segway idea. The concept and the technology behind it is ahead of it's game. With the price still being a couple grand to own it puts average joes walking everywhere. On a side note I think they should put the concept built into some type of shoe. That way you don't have to lug the large machine around when not in use. But anyway back on the subject at hand. The new Segway models seem pretty cool. XT, GT, and HT i180 are the models and you can find some pictures online. I enjoy the off road looking one. They "beefed" up the tired and added more durable parts so it can be used on a grassy or off road setting. A good change from the first one. Next they need to have some racing tires and work on speed. I would buy one to race sure. Probably won't need the parachute at the end to stop or airbags in case of a crash, but a nice little stool on the back would help. geekBlue gives them 4Gs for trying some new designs. Looks promising this time around. |
