Sony 3-chip CMOS "DCR-PC1000" DV camera

Information on the new DV camera from Sony. The Sony DCR-PC1000 puts some neat features to a very small size. "Sony, Japan announced this week the "DCR-PC1000" DV camera featuring 3-chip CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) sensor technology with an enhanced imaging processor. The DCR-PC1000 will be available in Japan on March 10, available in black and silver, expected price 135,000 Yen. The Handycam DCR-PC1000 model features a 2.7-inch wide hybrid SwivelScreen(TM) touch panel LCD screen, which lets consumers switch between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, comes with a Handycam Station for quick, easy connection to a TV or PC, Optical 10x zoom, memory stick duo slot, usb 2.0 interface and resolution of still picture - 1,920x1,440/ 1,920x1,080/ 1,600x1,200/ 640x480/ 640x360 dot, MPEG movie - 320x240/ 160x112 dot.
