Sprint Announces Sprint PCS Phone SCP-200 by Sanyo

Sprint has announced the availability of the Sprint PCS Phone SCP-200 by Sanyo. The handset features:

Price: S.R.P. $169.99 or $19.99 after rebate.
Three color options: Make a statement with three color options: Silver, Deep Blue and Pink Fusion. Each color sold separately.
Dual-band/tri-mode: This phone may be used on and while roaming off the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.
Compact style: Clamshell 3.34” x 1.85” x 1.05” and only 3.6 ounces.
Vibrant full-color internal screen: Vivid 1.6” internal color LCD; supports 65K colors.
Built-in speakerphone: Open or closed, hands-free operation of the phone is made easy with the high-quality built-in speakerphone.
Voice-activated menu and dialing: Say the name of the person you want to call and the number is dialed automatically without using the keypad.
2-way SMS text messaging: Instantly chat with friends and family by sending and receiving short text messages with SMS.
Customizable caller ID: Customize your caller ID by linking a ringer to a specific phone number in your contact list. The caller's number will also appear on the internal screen.
Call screening: Allows the user to decide whether or not to take the call while the caller hears a supplied or user-recorded announcement.
Voice memo: Record over a minute's worth of memos, notes and reminders of up to 18 seconds each in length for playback when needed.
