Clic Sport Sunglasses Hands-on Review

They have finally arrived! We here at geekBlue have been looking forward to getting our hands on these Clic Sunglasses. I myself have heard about them earlier this year but didn't think a whole lot of them. My views and opinions changed as soon as I opened the box. The quality is definitely top notch. Their durability is amazing adding to the total comfort of the product.

We received two types and immediately began to test them. I've had a couple days to wear them to see how good they really are. Even though their design obtains the 'cool' factor, the quality of their lenses were apparent. The lenses were amazingly clear. So clear sometimes I forgot I had them on. Yet even with the sun glaring above, my eyes could be wide open because of the lens quality. The way the frame hugs your head, when fitted, seems to really stop all of the outside glares. Also the durable material the frame is made of protects from scratches and brakes.

geekBlue did a full rundown of the features along with pros and cons of these neat little products. Read our review but visit their site to see for yourself the quality and usability.

The glasses arrived in a heavy duty box with a foam molding for encasement. We received two pairs, sunglasses and goggles, but the sports sunglasses are the ones we are reviewing today. Their sleek design reminds me of the Oakley style. This pair houses a Flash Mirror lens with a medium blue frame.

Each pair has a fitting slide on each side. This allows you to adjust the size to fit perfectly to your head. Once fitted, place the wave shaped sides over your ears, snapping the two lenses together. That's it! You're ready to go hit the beach. Our first impressions about the comfort were 10s. The light weight frames allow for the best comfort of any sports glasses out. I forgot a couple times I even had them on. The anti-glare UV 400 lenses gave me superior cover during the sunniest part of the day. My eyes have never been so wide open outside. On the sides of each lens frame there is a joint. This joint is to provide flexibility during movement. You might think that these glasses will just fall off because all that is hold it together is a magnet. Well you can't be further from the truth. Clic used extremely strong magnets (Clic Neodymium Magnets) that withstands wind up to 130mph. The days I wore this pair was very windy and yet not a twitch from them. The magnets hold the glasses together extremely well. Ok, I admit I was surprised, because I am a skeptic like everyone else, but after wearing them for 3 days I see that they are some of the nicest pairs of glasses I own. Full movement of your head looking in any direction does not effect the feel or the "clic" of the magnets.

When you don't need to wear the Clic sunglasses the front two lenses detach to hang around your neck. No more putting your classes on your shirt, pocket, or head. The shape of the back band allows you to move about freely, doing activities without the glasses shifting or falling off and away from your neck. We were very impressed.

Overall these glasses are some of the best I've worn. The goggles that we tested, have the same quality but with a different frame and color. These were meant for the outdoors and I proved it by dropping them a few times and doing some activities in them. Not a scratch to show any damage. There are many choices of styles, colors, and shapes to choose from. With the price no more than your normal pair of average sunglasses, they will mostly likely be the brand I look to from now on.
