Email on all Smart Phones in near Future

Wireless email on all smart cell phones is said to be in effect soon. There are many concerns by the phone companies about giving so many people access to wireless messaging on their network. Spam is a major concern and because of it companies may charge fees to compensate and discourage it. Most cell phone companies offer wireless email and messaging but with the birth of smart phones these features are even easier to use. Traffic use will increase as more people are constantly on the network using one type of service. Some thought is in the article below about the changing from one service to another. The email service will indeed increase but no one can really determine how the other uses will be effected.

"One of the first places to examine is whether wireless email will reduce some of the voice minutes," said Dulaney. "For example, a business manager might see voicemails dropping precipitously and find real benefits to the fact that messages can be forwarded easily inside and outside the organization. The overall cost per message delivered is likely to be lower, given the theory that most phone calls are several minutes long and include the time to connect to the person called."
