Google Expands their Video Search Tools

With as many projects Google is taking on Video searching and blogging is taking the lead. Google annouced Monday that they were wanting people's video clips for archiving. Google Video Search Beta has been out for sometime but this newer approach might prove to be a much more popular service.
Google Video Search

"Google in January rolled out the test version of its video search service that allows users to find content in television programs from such providers as Fox News, the NBA and PBS.

The service, called Google Video, allows users to see still images from the video clips and associated closed-captioning.

Google has search relationships with numerous content and broadband providers and hopes to extend those into new areas. For example, cable company Comcast Corp. uses Google search on its site and also creates its own content."[via economictimes]
