Sony and Toshiba talks peace for new DVD format

Fights between Sony and Toshiba on who will control the next DVD formats have been going on for a couple years. Both companies have a great product with great potential. The main problem both are finding is that their individual formats are not compatible with each other. This will cause consumers a big headache and possibly stop them from buying either one. To fix this problem Sony and Toshiba are in a joint effort to make a middle ground between them. Hopefully the outcome will be a format that will have the best of both HD and Blu-Ray. The most logical outcome will be a player that will run both. As peace talks keep going more information will be released.
