The "real matrix" design is said to be non-invasive and will allow users to smell, feel, and see things based on what they are doing. The patented design gives some details on how ultrasound would be passed into the brain. This will trigger the firing of neurons and excite certain senses. No real working prototype is available but skeptics are curious about the long term effects to the brain. The whole idea is a really big step for the future of entertainment.
