Vodafone increases services to mobile devices

Vodafone is trying to increase their size and portability by adding services such as messaging and email to mobile devices. This will also allow users to create a calendar, to-do list, and appointment books and send them straight to their mobile device. Any changes to the documents from their PC will automatically show up on their mobile device. Formats like PDF, Excel, and Powerpoint will also use this feature and will be provided by Visto. During the launch phase, the range of devices that support the push email service will include the Vodafone v1620, the Motorola MPx220, the Nokia 6630 and the Sony Ericsson P910i. Additional devices that support push email functionality will be introduced into the range in the coming months.
