Sony VPL-CX75 Projector

We have been talking about projectors lately and we can't go long without talking about a Sony product. Sony's VPL-CX75 is a horizontal laying projector with a slick professional design. It weights about 6.4 pounds and is great for professional uses. Portability is easier with it's design even though it's a heavier device. There is a lens cap that opens and closes as you hit the power button on and off. The projector itself will tilt up once started up and automatically focus and adjust itself. Once warmed up, the projector displays an image of about 1956 lumens but also has a feature of "High" lamp mode for another extra 24% of brightness. There is a remote that allows users to scan through different options or even pictures side shows. The contrast is a unimpressive 177:1 ratio and requires extra attention for filter cleaning. If you want to use wireless connection then you will need to grab the Sony's Air Show 802.11b wireless card and pop it into the required slot. Sony also provides a USB wireless for your laptop with easy setup. You of course can use Sony's memory sticks for easy transfer of data but figuring out the formats and data requirements might be difficult. Overall this is a nice above average projector.
Consumer Price: $2,800

Note: If you bought one and need to know how to set it up send me an email and I'll send you instructions.
