Dell Latitude D610

Laptops haven't been covered in awhile here but we found a hand full that might be worth your time to read about before making your purchase decision. First off we have the Dell Latitude D610. This system marks a whole list of improvements made from other Dell systems. As with all Dells options are editable but this one packs a 14 inch display with a SXGA+ native resolution. The processor is a 2GHz Pentium M 760 using 512MB of 400MHz DDR2 SDRAM. ATI Mobility Radeon X300 supplies the graphics along with 64MB dedicated video memory. It has an 80GB hard drive with spins at a lower 5,400rpm. There are optional DVD-ROM and CD-RW combo drive but with most Dells it is located in an easy to swap bay. Added features include networking capabilities and a Bluetooth radio. A major Pro in this model is that it comes with four USB 2.0 ports and one Type II PC card slot. Unlike others this models comes with a standard 3 year warranty at no extra charge. This model is somewhat higher in priced but it is definitely a well designed system with tons of support behind you.
Consumer Price: $1,995
