There are many different ways to hook your laptop into an internet connection outside your normal LAN. One of the most popular ways is through your local cellular service. Well Sierra has taken away the need to plug your cell phone into a your laptop through a cord and combined the two with a plug and play card. With the way cellular internet services are increasing in speeds this card is a nice addition to your collection. It will work with all bands in North America, Asia, and Europe. No need to really worry about carriers because it works with most carries and popular bands. The average unlimited internet service for cell phone carriers is about $80. Carriers offer their own card for laptops but if you want a more versatile one between networks if you travel then the Sierra is one to look at. Setup only takes about 5 to 10 mins and can transfer data around 175kbps. The card has a faster connection capabilities with EDGE but that service is only in select areas. It comes with a 1 year warranty and tech support.
