Disc-It Hands On Review
Always have desk clutter and even more so DVD and CD desk clutter? With as much data that is passed over our desks here at geekBlue we have no room for discs. We recently obtained a couple of these Disc-It holders in hopes of organizing our discs. I thought I would tell you about them and see if you would like them as much as we do. First of all we received two, a red and a black one. They are only about 2" tall but with the unique design they can hold up to 8 CDs or DVDs. We have found these little guys very useful over the past couple weeks. Whenever we "legally" burn data on a CD or just backup our system we place our fresh discs on one. Before we usually just slap them down face up praying that scratches won't get on them. Now there is no more worry. |
The outside enclosure of the Disc-It is made of hard acrylic. They are very durable and won't crack with disc weight. As you can see they are in a cone shape design with a pointed top. The top point allows you to place your discs on them really easily. Right below the top there is a silver ring that bubbles out. This ring helps the discs to either balance or lean to the side without hitting the side of the Disc-It or the desk. |
The Disc-It themselves are filled with sand which provides the weight for stability. With the symmetrical design the unit can hold up to 8 discs with ease. Having more than one can help you organize or keep track of different discs. Prices for these items are affordable which increases our rating. Logo designs can also be printed on the sides of the units. The units themselves comes in four (4) different colors. Disc-It also offers promotional packs for corporate orders. Pricing and exclusive offers can be found on their website (below). Consumer Price: (Single) $4.95; (Four Pack) $18.95; (Twelve Pack) $44.49 Disc-It Main Page - Here Durability Tested: Technical Information
