Netflix to test movie downloads

| Industry sources have confirmed that Netflix is very close to launching their on-demand rental service. The service will be paired with a Netflix-provided television set-top box. Last fall, it was announced that Tivo and Netflix had paired up to deliver movies over the Internet. That service is supposed to debut this year and would allow Tivo owners to download movies ordered online. DigitalTechLife |
