Nikon Coolpix S1
![]() |
Nikon hasn't been seen a whole lot lately but this year they have been coming out with new designs that sets their cameras apart from the rest. The new Coolpix lacks nothing from other point click cameras yet it is still smaller than your average wallet. It has a large 2.5 inch LCD that shows your pictures with bright precision. The battery life on this unit is extremely long. The zooming features are slow but with the simple buttons and easy to use snap shots zooming might not always been on your mind. There is a built-in flash and preloaded software that helps sharpen your images during sunny and dark conditions. Overall the screen can be "glarish" in direct sunlight but the pictures still turnout with 5.1MP resolution. There is an internal 12MB memory but external SD cards are accepted. You can take about 200 shots with on full battery life and a large SD card. The slim design and lower price really makes this little "whipper snapper" to be something to looking into when purchasing. |
