Orange SPV C550 Smartphone Announced

Orange SPV C550 smartphone has been finally announced. It is basically an upgrade for the older C500, yet the C550 has more features concerning MP3 playing. There are music control buttons on the actual button pad too. During the upgrade Orange put a nicer 1.3 megapixel camera on it so people can share clearer crisper images, plus you can still do everything that a smartphone can do. The nice thing about this phone is that the screen is larger so browsing internet or checking email is easier. Some quick highlighted specs are below.

-weight: 107 gram
-size: 108 x 46 x 16mm
-talk time: up to 4 hours
-stand-by time: up to 6 days
-Orange branded: simlock
-1.3 megapixel camera
-high resolution display: 240x320 pixels (instead of 176x220 like in Orange SPV C500)
-GSM tri-band powered by Windows Mobile 2003 SE, no upgrade possibility to Windows Mobile 5.0
-built-in Bluetooth
-built-in infrared

The Orange SPV C550 is available at all your local retailers.
