Spyware Changes How Users Use the Internet
A new survey conducted by Pew Internet and American Life Project found that 91% of Internet users have changed online behavior in order to "avoid" spyware and adware. The report was taken to see how spyware affects users online. Most users don't open Email attachments, or use a different browser (Yay!). Almost half said that they don't visit unknown websites fearing that they may get unwanted software downloaded to their system. Some have stopped downloading software from peer-to-peer software (P2P). Recently, spyware was discovered in BitTorrent downloads.
