Opera Releases Mobile Browser

| Opera has unveiled a tiny browser aimed at the mobile phone market called Opera Mini. The browser, which works on WAP-enabled J2ME capable handsets, is a small Java client along with a remote server that pre-processes the web page before sending it to the device. The result is nothing less than incredible, as the software does a great job of scaling down the page. Opera claims that the software "has all the features expected of a browser, and more, such as bookmarks, browsing history, and the ability to split large pages into smaller sections for faster browsing."
