LCD equipped Tombstone

| The tough, weather-resistant, solar-powered Serenity Panel embedded in a tombstone from Vidstone is meant to help families in their time of bereavement. It plays a 5-to-7 minute video featuring compiled content about the deceased. There are 2 headphone jacks, while the flipping the solar panel open will start the video. 4 hours of sun offers 90 minutes’ worth of video playback. Its 7” shatter-resistant screen can last 15 years, and comes with a 1-year warranty, extendable to 10 years for an extra $200. [via Ubergizmo] So basically what you are selling me is a 5 to 7 minute torture for all my living relatives who have to see me and mourn visually every time they visit the tombstone. I wouldn't want to see my father in special clips every time I visit it. Too painful for me. I'm sure people will buy them though. What they should do is pop in a coffee machine and some doughnuts. That will bring a family to your grave more than just Christmas and Birthdays. My family would visit me every morning probably. On yet another note, in this too long of an article, here is a tombstone to brighten the mood a little. GeekyTombStone |
