New Backpack Generates Its Own Electricity

| Talk about convenience. Scientists have developed a suspension-loaded backpack that generates its own electricity from the up-and-down motion of the person carrying it. Now you can charge your portable electronics on the go. Although it was designed originally for the US Military (requested from the U.S. Office of Naval Research), I'm sure we'll see this technology being implemented into consumer products in no time. |
