The Nintendo Revolution controller

It's a tv remote! It's a chair vibrator-adjustor! No, it's the new Nintendo Revolution controller!  Nintendo is abandoning the traditional controller style, and it acts like a mouse in real-space 3D.  It has gotten mostly negative reactions so far, with the biggest reasons being that it's "ugly", and that it will have trouble playing ported games.  While it may not be the best device to play older games, this controller opens up a whole new realm of games that can be created.  The decision people will have to make is whether they want to be more active in their games and want to play more virtual-reality type games, or whether they enjoy playing the present-style games with using a joystick and buttons.  We shall see if the controller will live up to its name.
