Equalizer Watch by TokyoFlash Hands-on Review
This past week geekBlue received a watch from TokyoFlash.com. What arrived was the High Frequency by Equalizer. Now we see many watches from Asia and Japan but never had a chance to get our hands on one until now. The craftsmanship of the watch is top notch. I'll go through all the details after the jump. |
The model is the all Black Genuine Leather band with the Black outlined face. The band is durable and strong yet soft to touch. Wearing it on my wrist is very comfortable. This one, as you can see in the pictures below, has the blue lights for display color. There are other colors to choose from including silver for the band along with blue and green for the lights. When first looking at the display, I got kind of scared. There are so many lights flashing around that I wasn't sure how to read it. The box thankfully came with an easy to read guide and I was on my way. There are two sections to the display. Hour / Month and Minutes / Day-of-Month. The two buttons on the side help you to navigate between the two and also set the current time and date. The top button is to help you display the time where the lower button is used to set the time. Once you hit the top button lights flash on the face in an Equalizer manner. After a couple seconds the flashing dies down and all that you are left with is the two dots that displays the time in hours and minutes. From there you can click the top button again to display the date. The date is also displayed with two dots; one to show day and the other to show month. |
Overall the watch is a very good showing for the Japanese watch company. Tokyoflash really designs and creates quality in their watches. Each design they have is unique and stylish. The Equalizer line is no exception to that. The durability along with their design will push them into more markets allowing them to grow. Right now they sell to 4 different currencies and will ship to almost anywhere. These watches are unique in design and will sure to standout in a crowd. Take a second and check out all of their designs. Home page to Tokyoflash HERE. For list of watches - HERE. Durability Tested: Technical Information *geekBlue was not paid to do this review.
