Palm TX and Z22

Last week, the Palm TX and Z22 were announced.  The key features of the T|X include an improved 320 x 480 pixel screen, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and 128MB of nonvolatile flash memory (cannot be erased).  It runs Palm OS Garnet 5.4.9 and is powered by a 312 MHz Intel XScale  processor.  The most attractive feature of the device is its price, which will be debuting at an affordable $299.  

The Z22, on the other hand, is targeted towards users who do not require quite as many features and are only looking for paper-planner replacements. It comes with a 160 x 160 color pixel screen, 20MB of nonvolitile flash memory, and easy access to appointments and addresses.  It runs Palm OS Garnet 5.4.9 and is powered by a 200 MHZ Samsung ARM processor.  It will be Palm's most affortable color handheld yet, priced at only $99.
