Steve Jobs Keynote: new iPod!

Well, the video iPod we were all anxiously waiting for is here.  Announcing the iPod (yep just iPod).  The iPod has about the same dimensions as the 4G iPod, but that's where the similarities end.  It has a beautiful QVGA 2.5-inch display. It supports the h.264 and MPEG-4 video formats at 30 fps, and come with a TV-out jack.  It will come in 30GB and 60GB models priced at $299 and $399, respecitvely.  Apple will start shipping the babies in one week.

Apple has made it easy for consumers to convert their own video into the proper format for the iPod (unfortunately, this feature is only for QuickTime Pro)
