Wake up refreshed with Sleeptracker
![]() |
geekBlue is trying to get our hands on one to test it out but by what I've read this little guy can change your life. I don't have the best sleep habits so Sleeptracker can probably do wonders for me. We'll keep you updated on the review but until then read about how the watch works below. The SLEEPTRACKER is a new watch device that monitors your body while you sleep and continuously looks for your best possible waking times. During the night, we all go through several sleep cycles, during which we experience varying levels of alertness. During some stages of these sleep cycles, we are in a very deep sleep from which it is hard to wake. During other stages, we are just on the brink of awakening. The SLEEPTRACKER monitors your activity during the night and keeps a log of “almost-awake” moments. You program a window of time in which the alarm may sound in the morning. The SLEEPTRACKER will sound its alarm at the first instance during that window in which you are nearly awake. |
For example, you set the alarm for 5:45 a.m. with a 30-minute window. This means that you need to be up by 5:45, but if the SLEEPTRACKER finds a moment of restlessness when you are nearly awake at any time after 5:15, it would sound the alarm early. The idea is that you feel more refreshed if you wake from a light sleep at 5:20 than if you woke from a deep sleep at 5:45. You can choose from four Window options (0:00, 0:10, 0:20, and 0:30). The larger the Window, the greater the likelihood that the SLEEPTRACKER will find a nearly awake moment. |
