AOL Releases AIM Triton

AOL released their new next-generation IM client, AIM Triton. New features include access to AOL Explorer, Search, AOL and AIM Mail, AIM Talk and the new TotalTalk VoIP calling service. Triton also bundles a new AIM Address Book that syncs with Plaxo, and offers built-in access to AOL Radio featuring 20 XM music stations. IM conversations are in tabbed windows allowing users to easily switch between friends to chat. Voice-chat can now go as high as 20 buddies and now allows 500 contacts (much like MSN). AOL wanted to include AIM Talk Plus with Triton 1.0, which would allow users to call telephone numbers, but they want to have it seperate until earily 2006. AIM Triton runs on XP and Windows 2000.
