The LAN Cordless DualPhone. Those clever Danish peeps at RTX have come out with a cordless DECT phone which supports SIP and also has enough data smarts to beam emails, weather, news and other stuff to you via the colour screen. Oh and it also connects to a standard landline, so you’re covered with all your calling needs. Of course you’ll still have to source your SIP provider to make the most of it, but that shouldn’t be a problem should it? Eight hours talk time, 300 metres range, 200 phonebook entries. No price.
