Wireless Powerline

The Solwise PL-85PEW is a Homeplug 85Mbps Ethernet adapter with a built in 54Mbps wireless access point. Try saying that with a mouthful of marbles. The idea is that it makes it easy to extend the pitifully short wireless range merely by plugging a unit into the nearest electrical wall socket. I’m becoming quite fond of Powerline technology, although whatever you do, don’t stick a hairdryer or shaver or any other electrical gizmo into an adjacent socket unless you want to see the connection stop dead.
