Cellphone to carry movie tickets

Booking movie tickets online is old hat by now, and it doesn't eliminate the problem of lining up and collecting the tickets. Cellphone users can now purchase the tickets online and receive them via cellphones, making long queues a thing of the past. The movie tickets and barcodes are sent to the cellphone - all you need to do is to present it to the usher at the cinema. It is yet another way for movie operators to gain a quick buck as we love to pay for convenience, but paying an extra dollar sure beats having to queue up behind a never ending line of people. Via |
