Energy-Efficient Sharp Aquos LCD TV
|
Treehugger offered some great advice on energy-efficient television sets this morning, suggesting that the most economical range to look for includes smaller LCDs, and that 50+ inch plasma sets should be avoided. Citing a Cnet feature from last year, Treehugger found the Sharp Aquos LC-20B8U-S to get particularly high marks, costing a mere $13 a year to run. A great set, this Aquos model features a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1024×768 maximum image resolution, 500:1 Contrast Ratio, and 170-degree viewing range. The set can also receive and display HDTV signals using an optional HD tuner. Via |
