Home HeartBeat Remote Monitoring System

home_heartbeat_23.jpg

The Eaton Home HeartBeat takes being connected to a whole other level, satisfying a bit of that nagging paranoia about whether or not you left an appliance on when leaving the house. The device is a home base station that receives signals from wireless sensors that indicate when doors and windows are open; whether power is being directed to anything you plug into the wall (e.g., did you leave the iron on?); when water leaks occur in the home; even when you need to fertilize your lawn or clean the gutters. The system can be connected to a water shut-off valve in case of flooding, and notifications of suspicious or dangerous activity in your home can be sent to a mobile Home Key device or to your cell phone. The Home HeartBeat Starter Pack is available for pre-order now, as are several additional accessories. Via
