Samsung Mass Producing 8Gb Flash Memory

Samsung announced today that it has started mass production of its 8Gb NAND flash memory device, originally developed almost two years ago. The package was manufactured using 60-nanometer technology, 10nm less than its predecessor. The smaller package will provide more affordable memory and more capacity to makers of cell phones and MP3 players. More
