Snake, Color, Camera, TV
![]() |
Cell phones have always had the purpose of entertaining us. While people do use the phones to send and receive calls, in reality, the cell phone was invented to occupy our time. From Nokia's introduction of Snake to Sony's first Camera phone, these devices have always helped us get through the dreaded downtime that plagues us all. Now, there is something that is going to torpedo boredom out of the water: TV. Samsung, as well as other Asian cell phone makers, have always had phones that could play TV. While the SPH-M250 is not that new to the rest of the world, for US (get it?) this is a whole new handheld, and the FCC now has finally given the green light allowing the phone to be sold here. Sprint will be the first carrier to feature this new TV service, but it won’t be the only one. It was only a matter of time before we finally received TV on our mobile phones--now it’s here. Via |
