Future project from Japan

japanese_robot.jpg

Called The Land Walker this is a real robotic suit for humans. The Land Walker was made by a talented man - Masaaki Nagumo and a group of Japanese engineers. It stands about 10 feet tall (about 4 m) and weights about 1 ton (908 kg). This mega gadget features a real cockpit for one person. It's unbelievable but this 10 feet metal giant can be controlled by one single person. It can walk forward, backward, and sideways. Moreover, the Land Walker can take run up to 15-16 Km/ph.

The manufacturers claim that even a teenager will be able to control their machine. It seems to be impossible when looking at this for the first time. But let's place confidence in engineers of this project. I'm sure they didn't waste their time for nothing. Moreover this machine is equipped with 2 air guns that can really shoot, but not with the real bullets, of course. Sponge substance bullets are used in two 6 barreled guns.

But the most amazing thing is that The Land Walker is available for sale in Japan for about $ 314 000. Via
