HP iPAQ rx5900 All-In-One Travel Gadget

draft_854_big.jpg

Laptop Mag gave the HP iPAQ rx5900 [product page] pretty high marks this morning, suggesting that "If you travel often and want something to replace your GPS, PDA, and MP3 player, we highly recommended this all-in-one gadget," and this thing is pretty awesome. The device runs Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC, featuring mobile versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (although there's no keyboard), a 3.5-inch touchscreen, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, and HP's Photosmart Mobile, all of which you can play with via 450MB of free flash memory after the TomTom software. Just in case maps, music, photo sharing, and homework aren't enough to keep you busy on a trip, the device is also bundled with MobiMate’s Worldmate, which offers time and weather forecasts for various time zones, a currency converter, and a size and measurement conversion program. It all measures up at less than an inch thick and a mere six ounces. Via
