Sony VGNTX007C - Spy Gear

draft_959_big.jpg

You'd think that there would have been a cross-branding strategy involving an electronics manufacturer attempting to cash in on the appeal of James Bond before now. Nothing comes to mind, which makes this Sony VGNTX007C Limited Edition Spy Gear set all the more fetching (if not actually making my shortlist of potential purchases). The compact 11" VAIO TX Notebook is at the center of this kit, featuring a 1366 x 768 widescreen LCD and weighing in at 2.8 lbs and 1" thick (.29" display). With 11 hours of battery life, the notebook gives you just enough juice for nocturnal missions. You also get a Cyber-shot DSC-T50 with the package, featuring 7.2 megapixels, ISO 1000, a 3" display, and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens. It's currently available for preorder, with a date of arrival scheduled for November 15. Via
