Sandisk Announces Sansa View
![]() |
I'm what you'd call a late adopter to the portable video player market. I have been able to store and play videos on portable PDA's and Smartphones I've carried for the last five years. The market for PMPs has definitely improved and the current dedicated players do a better job than even popular multimedia devices like the video iPod. Sandisk's CES-ready announcement of the company's first pocketable video player, the Sansa View [press release], has me paying attention. The PMP has 8GB of internal flash storage with room for expansion (through SDHC). The generous 4" screen means less eyestrain on your flight, and four hours of video means two full movies. An integrated speaker makes it an all-in-one travel companion. Via |
