Today we are reviewing two Microsoft carrying bags the Impact Messenger Bag and the Vertex Messenger Bag. The Impact Messenger Bag can hold laptops with screens up to 17" and comes with a whole cornucopia of pockets. It looks like your standard laptop back with a fold over design on the outside. The material seems very durable and able to withstand constant wear. There is a zippered mesh pocket on one side for liquid bottles and a cell phone pocket on the other. There are also two nice sized zippered pockets on the front and back for additional outside storage. Flip the top open and you are hit with pockets everywhere. The front compartments include ones for your digital accessories, business cards, pens, and keys. In the middle there are two interior file folder pockets with enough space to hold a portable keyboard or booklets. They also include extra smaller mesh pocket for loose papers. The back and main compartment is for your laptop. It is padded with a security strap that holds your laptop in place. It can hold a laptop with a screen as large as 17 inches.

The Vertex Messenger Bag is very similar to the Impact bag just in a smaller form. The Vertex is thinner and only has one outer side pocket. There is one large zippered pocket on the front for documents or other accessories. Flip it open and you find front compartments for your digital accessories, cell phone, business cards, pens, and keys. In the middle there is a zippered compartment with a fleece MP3 pocket and a headphone exit port. The main compartment is for your laptop. It is padded with a security strap that holds your laptop in place. It can hold a laptop with a screen as large as 15.4inches.
