Gateway unleashes E155C on the masses

Gateway has recently unveiled its latest tablet PC, dubbed the E155C. You can say that Gateway certainly did its homework well as the E155C looks like a normal laptop with the inclusion of a swivel hinge and digitizer without an inflated price tag accompanying it. Features include a 12.1" 1280 x 800 widescreen display which can be operated by a Wacom stylus or a finger, an internal optical drive, a biometric fingerprint scanner, an Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 processor, Gigabit Ethernet, and WiFi connectivity. The launch model will come with a recommended retail price of $1,850, but the price goes upwards as you throw in more memory, a larger hard drive, and a faster processor. Via
