The next generation of certified Wi-Fi products is set to hit shelves this summer. The new version of Wi-Fi is the "n" version( 802.11n). It's expected to be 5 times faster than version "g", which is widely in use. The Wi-Fi Alliance announced Wednesday, May 16, that it will begin certifying wireless routers, networking cards, microchips and other so-called "Draft N" products in June. Gear rated to handle N version Wi-Fi is already available but certified Draft N items are guranteed to work with older version Wi-Fi products. Via
